Today is the day! Finally going to Sun Valley Beach in Marietta Georgia, about an hour away from me. It should be really fun speaking that I haven’t done anything fun this summer, and I’ve been out since May. So of course I’m happy that I will be going to have fun with cousins and other family members. Supposedly there is going to be a beach, pool, petting zoo, and contest! I don’t know if I’ll watch or participate, I’m kind of shy or whichever word fits best when it comes to things like that. I will be gone all day. I hope it doesn’t rain for too long because I’d like to enjoy my self. At first, I told my self I were going to look at the younger ones going with and not swim or whatever, but I seen pictures and I know for sure I’m going to want to break loose and get away (: Maybe a good time is what I need. I also decided to add resources, even though I said I wasn’t. I figured I might as well, but it’s only the important ones…I think. I will not be adding resources frequently though, only when I’m bored or have something good to share. So yeah, don’t depend on my site for resources, it’s not a resource site.

That’s pretty much it, I also installed tons of Wordpress Plug-ins that will make my site better, including a gallery for my Personal Photo Gallery. That should be up soon as well as tutorials.. and a new layout? I got a lot of mixed feedback for my layout last post, and I thank all of you it was really helpful, bringing me to the conclusion that I need a new layout. I have an idea, so it couldn’t hurt for me to just design and code it. For those that did like it, it will forever stay a theme so I can bring it back whenever I want, don’t worry

I will blog about my mini-vacation as soon as I can and if there is time do whatever I can to make the site better. Enjoy all the new resources, that is if you use.

After my last ‘hair phase’ I grew it back and wore it curly again. View picture by clicking HERE. Then I cut it. I was not feeling the cut, and grew it back again. But now the hair was just something I couldn’t keep up with. When ever it was wet it would get all strait-ish and slide down on the sides of my face like baby hair. Totally annoying, so guess what? I decided to cut it again. Pictures are shown below. I took all of these yesterday because I sort of liked it. It’s simple, no designs like everyone, or should I say other guys, are doing in my town I wanted to show you guys, some of the photos. View below, and click for full size.

Any who, my portfolio is almost done. Now it’s time to upload and the graphics and write out all the pages. It’s actually sort of a lot of work, but I think I will have it done before I go out of town to the beach this weekend. (Can’t wait for that!). Speaking of my portfolio, I made two new things recently that I might put in there. I’m trying to put the good stuff there. The following images below are some stuff I just made in my spare time over the past couple of days.

Also, I have some new adobe tutorials in mind which will be added this week. So look out for those, I’m hoping these ones will be put to use. Just out of curiosity… are my tutorials helpful? Which kind should I add more of? I really need to know such things because it’s all about keeping you guys entertained and/or having some type of purpose for visiting my site.

What would you rate my layout out of scale from 1-10 (10 being the best.) ?

Poor Amy is having yet another time. (Wait Jay, who’s Amy?!) Amy Winehouse of course. The English music artist with that catchy, groovy song Rehab. No pun intended… Most people who keep up-to-date with the music news, or celebrities in general got has to know that Winehouse has struggled with drugs in her past. Ironically she wrote a song about going to rehab, and finding out later that she actually did harmful drugs I found mildly hilarious. Not that it’s funny that she was on drugs, but that the whole situation was just amusing because her song was explaining “I wont go.” Well, she may have calmed down on the hardcore drugs, but she still smokes. I guess she smokes so much that she now has Emphysema, a chronic disease that is obstructive to the lungs allowing air ways to collapse and making it really hard to breathe.

“The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her,” Mitch Winehouse was quoted as saying. “There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She has 70 percent lung capacity.”

I really do hope she gets her act together and quit smoking! I mean, if you look at the facts it’s a matter of life or death. Am I taking this to extremes? Of course not. It just kills me to see people know that they have a problem, the resulting consequences-yet they continue to do what they do. I understand that some things are just mere habits, but you have to buckle down and know that sacrificing a habit is much much better than sacrificing your own life.

I was going to open up the portfolio, but I changed my mind because I want to change the way it looks. It was kind of sudden, so sorry. You must wait longer, sorry people. But, in the mean time I need to thank everyone getting over 20 comments on my first post. I literally gasped when I checked. I will return all of them. More stuff coming soon.

Hello to any one who is reading this. This site isn’t exactly new. I moved from another domain because for some odd reason my other one just stopped working and I was never informed by my host for the reason. It sucks, but I’m actually happy. I now have tons more space, and a lot more features than I had before, including free cPanel. You know that’s got to be great. I also have a new outlook for the site. My goal is to strictly be more professional or at least have some type of organization and direction/purpose for it to be up. It’s for blogging and resources. When I say resources I don’t mean all the things that other sites offer, I will just post things up when I really feel that it can benefit someone else. I think that’s how it should be any way.

Along with that so called change, I also have this new style of a layout, inspired by Kate, though mine is slightly different so it’s not jocking her style at all. Besides, my intentions were to make it more “me” and so I did. Thanks Kate. Speaking of the layout, do you like it? My favorite part is the navigation and the colors. You will see me using “people” not necessarily celebrities in my layouts from now on, even though I used to be against that. I figured that if I do, it won’t be the typical singer and/or actor in my layouts. That way, I still feel like I’m setting my site a part from the rest.

I plan to go BIG with this site because I don’t have to worry about someone managing my domain. Even though this site is a sub-domain, the place where I got it gives you full control, which is what I like. In a way, it’s almost like having your own domain because I can host people, which is cool. I don’t think I’ll be doing that though unless people don’t have a problem of being hosted on such a odd looking domain. But if you really insist, just ask me. Space is unlimited. Well, everything is really.

Right now I’m going to focus on finishing up my portfolio, gaining visitors back and what not. In the mean time, check around the site and tell me what you think of the “new” me and new site. Leave comments too!
