In Less Than 24 Hours…

I finished the book I checked out yesterday!

I started reading around 7:30 PM yesterday and finished at exactly 12:00 PM today. 15 and 1/2 hours is by far the fastest I have read any book in my life. I had read most of the Twilight books within a day’s time, but I read this one in less than a day! I know it was much shorter than Twilight books, but these chapters were very very long and it was not a “story” it was REAL information about history, yet bored I was not.

So go me! Time to do that report though…which now is what I’m dreading. I’m feeling motivated though, and quite frankly I just want to get it all over with so I can study for my French final exam and do my make up work for AP Psych. Continue Reading»

I’m just afraid what second semester is going to look like.

Today at school was pretty great though. Everyone congratulated me on to making onto the SAC with the superintendent – some people I didn’t even know who my name was recognized me, and that made me a bit proud. I guess I’m more known than I thought I was. I’d say, based on my on view that I’m beyond averagely popular, but not Mean Girls popular, you know? Anyway, along with all the praise, I guess some of the teachers finally decided to take notice of me and I’ve been asked to do certain things…some I won’t speak of yet but I’m pretty pumped to be have new opportunities set before me, hopefully increasing the ‘goodness’ of my college resume. I want to get into an ivy league university (Brown, Cornell, MIT…) and NYU possibly, but that isn’t an ivy league school. It’s important that I surround myself with great people, do great things and commit to specific duties so that universities are able to see that I’m willing to work hard in terms of education and citizen involvement.
