It’s been a long time since I’ve had to sit down and write to my hearts desire. Over a month actually. My twitter gang would be the first to know that I’ve been no stranger to the web – only to my website. While I had planned to come back sooner – my motivation and creativity would not agree with that notion. I had coded and implemented two layouts versus this one, but wasn’t satisfied. Truth be told, they were probably better than the one you’re viewing – but I wanted something simple..and this does the job.
Thisfiasco is not the same. There are no more resources, wordpress themes, or any other tangible visitor content. So many websites offer them, so me getting rid of them isn’t the end of anyone’s life. Besides, before tossing them, they haven’t been updated since 2008. Not like you’re missing anything that you couldn’t have gotten by now.
But anyway, what’s in store for the new and possibly improved TF?
Video blogs are coming!
Yep, that’s right — I will finally be posting videos of myself talking about whatever. It’s going to be a challenge for me to overcoming my insecurities, but it’s what my new tag line demands. “Developing a mentality to face reality.” I want to be real, and be ashamed of my speech, looks and presence coming off as something I’m not is not how you guys should know me. I want you to know me. Hiding behind the screen should not be an aspect of a “personal blog” so expect me to get more personal.
The depths of my soul exposed
Previously, I’ve held back to what I wanted to write. Reading my archived post, I concluded that my blogs were a bit “robotic.” School had seemed to be the topic of most of my entries and I got bored reading my own writing, so I could only imagine to those who actually had the energy to read what I’ve written. From now on, I’ll be the blunt, sarcastic, outspoken nerd that I truly am. I would say that discretion is advised – but that would ruin all the fun.
Visitor interaction
Although this is MY blog – I still want my readers to know that this website, figuratively, could be their “second home” too. I will try to make the site itself more user friendly. Visitors will soon be able to interact and discuss whatever – in reference to what I endow. You may be thinking “discussion board!” Well, sure – but it’ll go beyond that. The site is aiming to be a universal place on the web, where everyone and anyone can have some input on my antics. This should be fun.
Passion for fashion
While this idea is still debatable, you can look forward to my “fashion sense.” I’m currently prepping a clothing line, and besides sharing my vision, looks of what I wear and my perception of ‘a good look’ will be shown in it’s very own section of the site. “Hot or not” “I would wear this!” and “That’s just not cute” are intended sub categories of this precedent. Do you like this idea?
To my nerdies, bookworms and weirdos
The Notebook section will be heavily updated. Read my poems, articles, quotes and finally: stories! Coming soon is an online series that will be sure to keep you in front of the screen waiting for the next post. This here is what I look forward to most because it involves what I do best: writing!
So that’s just a gist of some of the directions TF will be going. I’m excited and hopefully ThisFiasco can have another good year as it had in 2008. Feedback is appreciated, and I’m open to suggestions as well. The nerd has returned!

Sounds like there’s tons of new stuff in store for This Fiasco! How exciting.
I know we don’t talk much, but I really do love your site! You’re a dedicated web designer & blogger, and that’s what I love the most about it. The Notebook section seems pretty interesting… So, I’m gonna go check that out right now.

First of all, this layout is sexy! I love it, although it is simple, anything simple by you always looks great. Don’t worry as long as you like it, most likely everyone else will like it as well!
I think it wasn’t a big deal that you got rid of your content. Although you did have some great tutorials and wordpress themes, like you said, who ever wanted them could of gotten them before. I don’t think I’m going to have any content when I open, although I’m thinking of keeping a writing section, although I’m not sure yet.
I can’t wait for the video blogs! I’ve been waiting to see them from you for a while, and your finally going to do them, yay! Trust me, once you get used to talking to a camera, they aren’t to hard.
I think that what your saying, about you writing what is on your mind, is great. I’ve always been scared to do that on the web, I don’t need people hating me. But maybe I will start trying to do that, I am just scared of people not liking what I write, and then people not liking me. Ya know?
I can’t wait to see all the visitor interaction stuff you will add.

IT’S ABOUT TIME! LOL
I’m excited for the new change! You’re right about the visitor content thing–it seems “everyone” has a site like that; that is why I got rid of mine years ago haha.
Personally, I’m a fan of video blogs. I was going to do something like that, but I just never got to it…mostly because of my laziness.
I also like the fashion sense idea. You’re a pretty fashionable person, so it’s a great idea. I can probably take advice from you as well. Good luck preparing the clothing line

I don’t think you should of got rid of the resources, I loved the tutorials – especially the Wordpress ones!

Yaaaay Jaaay! I’m glad you’re back 8D This Fiasco looks awsuum, and I think it’s pretty okay that you got rid of your content stuff. You’re right, so many other websites offer those that it’s kind of boring to have them on your own site sometimes -___-

Congrads on coming back though:) and your layout looks good, i think everyone is going for a simple theme these days. lol and mhm, yea a lot of sites offer use content, but yours was always good. i think you should do vblogs. I like watching videos, of people on blogs because you really get to know who they are lol

wow it has been a while! but yeah thats why i hardly update my visitor content… i was thinking about getting another domain for my visitor content only! but i love this layout it is very simple and youre right it does the job! im a big fan of the color blue definitely a thumbs up!!!

Haha, I know. It’s been quite hard to keep up with me. =o Aw thanks. Yup, it’s been a while since I visited your site as well. I’m glad to see you’re still blogging and I love your new theme. It seems as though you have a lot going on for your site this year so I’m looking forward to seeing it all. I’ll be adding you to my links page too.

I do miss the social interaction with other websites. I love blogging and reading other blogs. And you know what I realize from it all? Some of people I met through blogging became really great friends. They’re much closer than your offline friends. You meet great people online.

High school is really awful like that. It’s like the only thing people come to school for is to make others feel bad about themselves. I try to stay away from drama but it’s like they just keep coming to me. I will try to just keep away from them. Just everything about me to myself and don’t tell anymore because they all can’t keep a secret.
Power point is soo much fun.
We haven’t started the actual class yet, but we had to do this get to know the each other thing and we had questions to answers. IT was fun. 
I have lots of people i know in there. 
It has to be school related. I wish my school had PhotoShop lol.
We can’t check emails and other stuff.
Welcome back!!!!!!!!!!!! There’s nothing unique anymore with resources since a lot of sites has the same thing lol. I am really looking forward to your PASSION FOR FASHION.
