I’ll Be In The Newspaper! Nov 7, 2009

My life as of now.
I thought I would be blogging more, but school just doesn’t know when to quit. No I’m not complaining at all just all these make-up tests, grades and staying after school nearly everyday for long periods of time can really take a toll on you, especially someone likes me who just wants to come home, eat and sit in front of the computer.
I won’t talk about school too much, I just wanted to stay that I’ve picked my classes for next year. The following classes are not definite, assuming I attempt to start college early.
- AP Literature
- AP Calculus
- AP Chemistry
- AP Micro Economics
- Band IV.
- French III
- Oral Speech and Debate
Next year, we’ve added an extra period, so there will be seven classes rather than six. For my “extra” class, I chose Oral Speech and Debate. That’s my kind of class! The sad part is, I hear the person who teaches it doesn’t really take it seriously, but if I’m in that class I’ll change that. Notice that I’ve chosen all of my core classes to be AP classes, I did this to receive college credit. I’m just worried if I’ll have time for a life with so much work…fortunately enough I don’t have much of a life anyway.
In other ‘news,’ I was interviewed by some news paper (I forgot which one it was), about being making it on to the Advisory Council. I’ve never been in the newspaper for a personal achievement, so I thought it was pretty cool to take pictures and be asked a lot of questions. Surprisingly I wasn’t nervous, which was probably due to the training I received from my leadership program last year. When the article prints, I’ll be sure to scan or take a picture of it for all of you to see. I’m a county superstar at the moment….well to some it’s a pretty big deal.
Aside from all of that – All State is right around the corner. I’ve been practicing like crazy, so when I feel comfortable enough, I may be posting some videos of me playing my instrument
I should be blogging as much as last month within the next few days, provided that I find some interesting stuff to talk about. November and December downloads coming soon!
What is your biggest achievement to date?

November 7th, 2009
Lol my biggest achievement is probably doing an ollie the 10-stair with the gate 1st try. I was the talk of the ’skate’ community in my town for quite a bit lol. No real big achievements though.
That’s cool you got interviewed. And I did your poll

Congrats on the paper interview! I’ve been interviewed once, but it was for something about my whole class, not me personally.
Your class schedule for next year looks pretty crazy! Have fun balancing all that, lol. Where are you wanting to go to college at?
My biggest accomplishment to date was probably getting a second place award in my FFCLA event at the National level. It was my freshman year and the first year I’d done it.

Yeah, I just don’t understand it at all. Makes no sense to me.
And there’s no hate thing going on. Well, not really.
No hate for a person, just stealers in general.
Wow Jay! I have not been on your site or talked to you in forever. How’ve you been?
Ooh! Sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you! Good luck with everything!

Hey there primo! lol.
. You can do it.
Its good to hear that you are going to be in a newspaper. Good work pays off when you work hard for it I see. AP classes are hard to me, so with you taking all of them, I wish you the best of luck! Shoot, all I qualify for in AP is English. I’d like to wish you good luck in advance for the All State

Wow, I never heard of someone taking 4 AP classes their senior year. I’m sure you’ll do fine, though. (:
My biggest 2 achievements to date would probably be winning 2nd place at Cheerleading Nationals a few years back in Disney World and keeping my domain for this long.

Sheesh. You always have a lot on your plate but it will definitely be beneficial later on! I always believe that the more we get done at earlier times, the lazier we’ll get to be later

Thank you!
Yeah, it’s nervewracking starting a new job but often they ease up after they decide to employ you. It’s like they torture you throughout the interview! XD
I hope you do well in those AP classes and it doesn’t make you too stressed.
All these differences over countries confuse me; we don’t have college or AP… XD
Congratulations on being in the newspaper! I’m usually in there just for something random. I was in there once when I was little because I completed a reading program and read many books.
My greatest achievement didn’t get me into the newspaper but I came first in French in my school… hahaha. D:

WOW! Congrats on getting in the newspaper. I’m sure all of your family is really excited for you.
I think the only way anyone in my family is going to be in the newspaper is if they kill someone or run their car into a river. lol
I really do like this layout. It reminds of me of fall. The colors are great.

Being in the newspaper is awesome. I’ll wait for screenshot of it, congratulations! dang look at those classes, you definitely deserved to be interviewed. I would be very much interested in reading the interview myself! Good luck with your upcoming classes, you’re going to be king of the speech/oral class, haha.
